12.05.2021 – The Stability and Growth Pact: Past Experience and Future Aspect: RBI EU-Sky Talk 2021

Johann Strobl, CEO of Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI), welcomed Mr. Gernot Blümel, Minister of Finance in Austria, as a keynote speaker at the virtual RBI EU-Sky Talk on May 12 2021. A pan-European audience followed his remarks on a wide range of European fiscal policy issues, such as the future of the European Stability and Growth Pact, the Recovery and Resilience Fascility, the strengthening of corporate equity, the monetary policy of the European Central Bank and the fight against money laundering. From the point of view of the economies in Austria and Central and Eastern Europe, RBI's home market, Johann Strobl underlined the importance of stability and planning security for the phase of recovery and transformation in Europe.
